Renée Émond
With over 30 years of experience, Renée specializes in strategic alignment and planning. Among her roles, she assists SMEs in the manufacturing industry with their governance, management team building, business succession and business strategy.
An entrepreneur at heart, Renée founded Biolab, an environmental testing laboratory, while still in school. She served as President and CEO until the sale of her company in 2015. Her company grew through acquisition.
Her background as an entrepreneur gives her a thorough understanding of the challenges facing SMEs. Her desire to share her knowledge and her passion for helping entrepreneurs succeed are the key qualities that set her apart.
Renée holds a bachelor’s degree in administration (finance) from Université Laval and an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke.
Richard Cantin
Richard specializes in marketing and sales for SMEs. He advises executive committees in their preparation and planning for sales to support growth, and acts as a mentor in skills development for sales teams. He also assists them in their marketing and distribution strategies, and in developing partnership agreements.
With more than 40 years of experience in the food industry, Richard has held a number of executive positions at national and international companies, including Fromagerie Bergeron, SAQ, Geloso Group, Coca-Cola Canada and Bimbo. Since 2000, he has served on the board of directors of Les Œuvres de Jean Lafrance, an organization dedicated to youth development.
Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a major in marketing, from Université Laval.
Richard Gendron
Richard specializes in corporate governance for SMEs and their executive committees. He supports them in their planning and forms of communication, and advises them on financing projects and mergers and acquisitions.
Backed by more than 40 years of experience, Richard has held a number of positions as chair on the boards of companies in the technology and agriculture sectors, including Hortau, TelcoBridges, Datacom Wireless Communication, Locus Dialogue, Quelis ID Systems Inc, Algolith Inc. and YWire Technologies Inc.
Richard is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Robert Beauchamp
Robert specializes in sales optimization and marketing. He supports SMEs in their planning, organizational management and development of sales strategies. In particular, he advises them on improving their competitive position to reach new markets and increase sales volumes.
With more than 30 years of experience, Robert has held executive positions at international companies such as Colgate Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Clairol/Bristol Myers, Accenture and Uni-Select.
Robert holds a bachelor of commerce degree, with a major in marketing, from Concordia University.
Robert Beaudoin
For more than 40 years, Robert has specialized in marketing and communications. He supports SMEs in the manufacturing industry with the positioning, brand image, go-to-market strategy and marketing of their goods and services. He also advises them on their strategic alignment and choices for long-term growth.
Robert has held a number of executive positions at major corporations such as Air Canada and Bell Canada. He has also worked for advertising agencies such as Cossette and Republik, where he was owner and President for 15 years.
Robert has a master’s degree in business science and a major in marketing from Université de Sherbrooke.
Robert Sinclair
For the past 25 years, Robert has specialized in the analysis of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and in investment choices for SMEs, NGOs and multinationals. He also advises businesses on strategic alignment, change management and risk management.
Robert has held a variety of executive positions, both in small companies and multinationals abroad. He also founded his own risk management company and merged it with a multinational. He currently serves on the advisory boards of the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation Canada, CrowdSmart (an artificial intelligence company) and NGOs such as Operation Water and Project Terra Firma of Canada, and is an executive member of the Climate Solutions Award initiative.
Robert has a degree in applied science from Western Sydney University in Australia and led the team that won a BOMA Innovation Award in 2003 for an online ESG risk management system.
Rocco Lofano
A specialist in the food and retail industries for over 40 years, Rocco helps SMEs in these sectors with their brand positioning, marketing and sales optimization. He also advises companies wishing to grow through franchise development strategies.
Rocco has held a number of executive positions, including Vice-President of McDonald’s restaurants and Vice-President, Business Development, for St-Hubert restaurants.
Rocco completed an executive leadership development program at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona (U.S.).
Roger Jenkins
For more than 30 years, Roger has excelled in financial strategy for SMEs. He supports them in identifying and negotiating strategic alliances, and in their choice of investment and financial partners. He provides advice from both a strategic and operational perspective.
Roger has held a variety of management positions in the financial sector, as well as executive positions, in particular for Bell and Nortel. He has served on numerous boards of directors, including several as chair. For over 25 years, he was a partner and manager of GTI Capital in the private equity sector.
Roger holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke and an MBA from HEC Montréal.
Sabrina Poirier
Sabrina specializes in strategic human resources management for SMEs in all sectors. She supports them in their strategies for attracting and retaining talent, as well as evaluating the performance and developing the skills of their employees. She also advises management committees on change management, collaboration and leadership.
With more than 25 years of experience, Sabrina has acted as an expert collaborator for major corporations and SMEs in Canada and abroad, including EPSI, the Canadian leader in talent assessment. Since 2017, she has sat on the board of directors of the Caisse Desjardins de Gatineau.
Sabrina holds a doctorate in industrial relations from UQO and is currently completing an MBA at the University of Fredericton.
Sacha Declomesnil
With more than 20 years of experience, Sacha specializes in strategic alignment for SMEs, supporting them in implementing their business and growth plans. He also carries out mandates in digital transformation and advises them on the importance of the technological solutions available to assist them with their business needs.
Sacha has a background in marketing and communications strategies. He began his career working for leading communications agencies such as Publicis, SidLee and Brad, and collaborated with major clients such as Radio-Canada, L’Oréal, Jean Coutu and Lego. He went on to head his own web agency, specializing in e-commerce.
Sacha holds a master’s degree in communications – political science from the Université de Toulouse, as well as a Master of Arts in international relations from Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom.
Sarah O. Gauthier
With over 15 years of experience, Sarah specializes in human resources for SMEs. She assists them with their organizational transformation and talent management. She also advises them on change management and communication, particularly during the implementation of a continuous improvement initiative or as part of a business transfer.
Sarah has held a number of human capital consulting positions at Deloitte and worked at companies in a variety of sectors such as manufacturing, finance and the public sector.
Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in marketing from HEC Montréal. She also earned a master’s degree in organizational intervention and change from Université de Sherbrooke. She is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA).
Serge Falardeau
Serge specializes in strategic alignment and financial management. He supports SMEs in all sectors in their financial planning and modelling, in order to improve the profitability of their activities. He also participates in projects involving company acquisitions and mergers.
Backed by many years of experience, Serge has held several executive positions at manufacturing companies, including general manager of Texel Inc. president of P.H. Tech Inc. and executive vice-president of Béton Provincial Ltée. He sits on the board of directors of the Royal Canadian Mint.
Serge holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec and is a certified corporate director (CCD).
Serge Savard
With over 30 years of experience, Serge specializes in the support of small and medium-sized businesses. He carries out strategic planning and process optimization projects. As part of his work, he also advises SMEs on the redesign of their organizational structure and on their corporate governance model.
Serge has held a number of executive positions at engineering firms before becoming an entrepreneur in 2020.
Serge holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, an MBA from UQAM and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. As well, he is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
Simon Deschênes
Simon supports SMEs in their financial planning, structuring and modelling. He also advises them on improving their accounting processes and identifying financial partners.
With more than 25 years of experience, Simon has held a number of management positions at companies in various sectors, including Patrick Morin, Lauzon Bois énergétique recyclé, LOGI-D, Maître Saladier and Barbex.
Simon holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UQO. He is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec.
Simon Péladeau
With over 20 years of experience, Simon supports SMEs across all sectors in their ESG strategic alignment and planning. He specializes in the implementation of sustainability initiatives.
Simon has held many positions in sustainability consulting with organizations in Canada, the United States and Asia. More recently, he was a director at PwC in Montréal, where he was part of the sustainability team. Simon is also a lecturer in sustainability at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
