Nabil Saad

With more than 30 years of experience in world-class companies, Nabil R. Saad can position high-potential innovative companies in national and international markets, provide strategic guidance for the leaders of several manufacturing SMEs, and empower the leaders of technology-intensive SMEs to thrive in a global environment.

As director of turbine structures at Pratt & Whitney Canada, he led the development of the new generation of aeroengines. He then served as Vice-President and General Manager of Corporate Solutions at Bombardier Aerospace, built the Global Express competency centre and integrated it into the Montreal aerospace cluster to optimize its supply chain. With Bombardier Transportation in Berlin, he led the international team that developed the next generation of high-speed trains.

Nabil holds a Ph.D. in engineering from McGill University. He is the author of several scientific publications and has taught post-graduate courses in aeronautical engineering at McGill University and Polytechnique Montréal.
