Cristian specializes in operations optimization with a focus on environmental considerations and quality assurance. He advises SMEs in the agri-food sector on implementing sustainable strategies and assessing their environmental footprint. He shares best practices in operational excellence and supports companies adopting a circular economy approach.
Cristian has held a number of executive and auditing positions with environmental and sustainable development components at agri-food companies such as Lassonde, Cedarome and Vegpro International. For several years, he has been a lecturer in food processing at Collège de Maisonneuve and in sustainable development at HEC Montréal.
Cristian holds a master’s degree in food safety from Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional (UCI) in Costa Rica and a master’s degree in environmental studies from Université de Sherbrooke.
